About Banff National Park

班芙国家公园（英语：Banff National Park，法语：Le Parc national Banff）建于1885年，是加拿大历史最悠久的国家公园。它坐落于落基山脉北段，距加拿大艾伯塔省卡尔加里以西约110-180公里处。公园共占地6641平方公里，遍布冰川、冰原、松林和高山。冰原公路从路易斯湖开始，一直连接到北部的贾斯珀国家公园。西面是省级森林和幽鹤国家公园，南面与库特尼国家公园毗邻，卡纳纳斯基斯镇位于其东南方。公园内主要的商业区为弓河山谷的班夫镇。它作為「加拿大落基山脈自然公園群」的一部分，與其它加拿大洛磯山脈的國家和省立公園一起被列入世界遺產名錄中。

路易斯湖是班芙的精华，也被称为是一年四季的魔鬼。它如同一块翡翠的丝绸挂铺在山谷间，原始森林里生长着数百万株长青树，顶峰积雪的群山绵延起伏一直伸向远方，湖水随光线深浅由蓝变绿，满湖碧透。人们可以坐上一叶轻舟，滑动在丝绸一样的湖面上，也可以骑着马徜徉在湖边，让身心充分享受这大自然宁静的美。

Canada Banff National Park now consists of 6,641 square kilometres of unparalleled mountain scenery nestled in the heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies.
